The A City Made By People journal printed in Kaunas, Lithuania
Last week we went on an adventurous trip to Kaunas, Lithuania. And we felt to share this special experience with you!
Where did you say? We hadn't heard of the city before either, but we discovered a beautiful place, with kind people who are taking well care of our A City Made By People issue 1 print journal. It took us an airplane, a few train rides through the country side and some non-English-speaking taxi drivers to get there, but it has been worth it all along.
A first and special visit, where we've overlooked the process of our first printed journal. From colour corrections to journal finishes, the A City Made By People Journal is going to look ace. Here a short impression of our encounters and the great rewarding result after all those months of hard work.
The only word we could desipher and understand during our trip, 'Gimnazia'.
Lines of electricity connecting the city.
Musician Andrew playing the streets of Kaunas (and starring in our 1-minute movie).
The picturesque city of Kaunas, beholding colourful and static architecture.
Crossing the Neman river.
Our company of the day, taking great care of us.
So great to see all the hard has paid off, finally to be felt in print.
Not the Kopa Printing House, but a beautiful contrast between the past, now and a prosperous future.
Sales manager Mantas, who has been a great support throughout the day in an easy-ride and fun process.
Although we haven't exchanged any words in English, he is our hero-chief-printing-machine-operator.
Tadaaa, version 1 of issue 1. A couple of more copies and we'll be ready to ship them to you worldwide.
It's hard to describe the special feeling of holding a product that, you, me, the team and the entire network of correspondents have worked on so hard over the months, has finally become a reality.
Want to get your hands on yours? Get your copy of the journal through our online store.
